Community platform integrations overview
Command AI integrates with most community platform knowledge bases to allow you to pull content from your community into various Command AI experiences.
What is the purpose of these integrations?
Command AI is word-hungry. Usually, the more words written about your product — whether by you, your team, or your users, helps make Command AI better. Community content is no exception. The most common use cases for community content are:
- Training Copilot. Your community contains a bunch of question-and-answer scenarios. Copilot can reference this information to gain a better understanding of the edge cases in your product that your official documentation sources (e.g. in your knowledge base) don’t cover. You can choose to prevent Copilot from directly citing community content via the “training only” setting.
- Populating HelpHub. Your community content can be featured in recommendation sets and made available through HelpHub search.
What can I do if I use a community platform you don’t integrate with?
Command AI can scrape any public website for content. If you are hosting your community on the public web, you can still pull publicly available content hosted in that tool by creating a source.
