Popovers

Popovers are like modals, but less big and imposing. They're smaller, and can be placed in one of the four corners of the user's screen. This makes them less intrusive and annoying, but also a bit easier for the user to miss.

Popovers are the most common nudge formfactor; they're used for all sorts of things. They're especially common as an entrypoint to non-critical nudges.
