Keywords

Every product has special vocabulary words. Is it the "Settings" page or "Configuration" page? Is it a "User" or a "Teammate"? Is it a "Plumbus" or a "Pickle"?

Learning these words is important for users, but it's rare for a website to actively teach them to users -- they're expected to pick them up over time. We think this is a lot to ask.

Keywords are our solution to this problem. Keywords allow you to define your product's vocabulary words, and then show those definitions to users in contextually relevant places.

Where do keywords show up?

Today, keyword definitions are used whenever a keyword appears in an article (opened in HelphHub) or a Copilot response.

Note that in articles, we'll only highlight the first use (it woudl be annoying to highlight a word that's used a bajillion times).

How do I add a keyword?

Go to Keywords, select the "Add Keyword" button, and input (a) your keyword; (b) a definition. Once done, click "Create Keyword".
